Deck Description

Basic Idea:
W/B tokens is a solid modern deck and, after looking at some primers, I saw that the cards where straight forward in it's tactics and thus the could be made beginner friendly. As I already had a orzhov beginners deck that was built with simplicity in mind I decided to make this a more advanced beginners deck. The main differences for me between a "simple" deck and a "advanced" is that the advanced has a higher budget (50$ instead of 15$ mid value) and it allows the usage of more rare cards.

To keep this deck simple I decided to stay modern-legal even if this would only be played at the kitchen table. I also tried to stick to editions I knew I had enough cards at home to build this deck in real.

The overall budget for the more complex beginner's decks be between 48 to 52$ (Mid value).

Mechanics in this you'll have to explain:
Flying, Discard, Destroy, Tokens, Flashback, Lifelink, Deathtouch, Populate, indestructible, Vigilance

At the moment this deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to further improve this deck.

How to Play

The basic idea of this deck is straight forward: Play some token-producing spells, drop Honor of the Pure/ Intangible Virtue and swing for damage.
Zealous Persecution is a very versatile spell as it can be used in offence and defence while Rootborn Defenses has a more defensive nature.
Duress gives you an idea of what you're up against and can remove non-creature threats from your opponents hand while Go for the Throat will handle the rest.

Deck discussion for W/B: Advanced Tokens

This looks very similar to a WB Tokens deck I ran at FNM's in 2015. Obviously it's been a while and the format's meta changed some, even before Jace and Bloodbraid's unbanning, so it's horribly out of date. Without having access to the actual deck (I'm currently not at home), here's an updated list that still needs play testing:

Why does it only have 48 cards?

Basic lands still need to be included. Fixing that now.

Thanks for the answer. Sorry for my late reaction, somehow I didn't get/see/realize the notification message.
I didn't include Spectral Procession because I'm not sure if I can get the required {W}{W}{W} on the table fast enough..and you don't want to cast this with anything else I think.
Beckon Apparition can be a good card, tough it adds "only" one flying token. I can't estimate how important the removal of a card from the graveyard will/can be for a beginner-deck.
Harsh Sustenance is definitely a card I will add, maybe instead of Timely Reinforcements.
The problem I run into with most of the budget decks is that the dual-lands are rather expensive. So either keep it mono-coloured or near that or reduce the power of the rest of the deck to make it more stable to play in therm of the mana-base.

Looks like Isolated Chapel is getting a reprint in Dominaria, so that should bring the price down some.

That would be good news. I was thinking of adding simple search-lands like Terramorphic Expanse or Evolving Wilds tough that would slow the deck down a ?little? bit.

If you do go with the fetches, Evolving Wilds would be the better of those two because it's what's used so often in Standard. Don't want to introduce the 'exact same card, but different name' thing too early. Another option that I've come tolike are the Panorama (Esper Panorama for WB). Sure, it may cost extra mana to search, but it's an untapped source that can add {C}.

Ok, 2 suggestions, just for the sideboard. Doom Blade, nice alternative to Go for the Throat if you play an artifact deck, and Anointed Procession, I know it can be a little pricey and you want to keep this cheap, but it can be really handy to double your token production, especially if your opponent manages to catch you with a board wipe and you need to bounce back quickly.

Thank you for your suggestions. I added 4 Doom Blade instead of Go for the Throat which also enabled me to add a 3rd Isolated Chapel.
Even if Anointed Procession is the cheapest of all token-doublers it still rather expensive. Also I would need 2-3 of them in the deck to (more or less) constantly draw one. At the moment I see no chance to sueeze ithat in, perhaps when Isolated Chapel, or any other card, becomes cheaper. Lets see what Domria and the new Core Set will do to the prices.
