Deck Description

Idea:
While searching for something completely different I stumbled upon "Confront the Unknown". I first wanted to build this deck only around clue tokens but soon found that there weren't enough cards, at last not in a 2-color version.
Splashing blue would add 2 more playable cards (Drownyard Explorers, Press for Answers) but the mana-base on 3-colored pauper decks is rather hard to build in my opinion.
So I went for a G/W artifact deck that all available (good) Clue Token spells and "Confront the Unknown" as buff for attacking creatures. This was filled up with Artifact creatures with affinity for artifacts and Auriok Sunchaser as finisher, which profits from metalcraft.
The rest of the spells where rather easy. Having already "Confront the Unknown", "Expose Evil" and "Survive the Night" gave me some control, protection and combat buffs. I wanted to add some further protection and buffs so "Vines of Vastwood" was added. "Ferocious Charge" (which I'm not so sure about but I want to give it a try) and "Mirran Mettle", which again profits from metalcraft, made the list full.
I first wanted to add "Ancient Den" and "Tree of Tales" but in the end decided against it because metalcraft should be easy enough to achieve and non of my creatures/ spells profit from more artifacts on the field.

Cardpool:
Like many players I first looked into magic with Eight Edition/ Mirrodin tough I didn't start to seriously play and collect until Innistrad. My cardpool is limited and ,though I did discover many new cards from blocks I didn't even know, my focus lies on modern legality. Thus modern-legal cards only where used to build this deck, though it doesn't mean I'm not open to other suggestions.

Ban-list:
For our local playgroup we decided to use the pauper ban-list and each card that is available as common in a modern-legal pauper deck. For example the Mirrodin artefact lands are legal while Rancor and Cranial Plating aren't.

Tests:
This deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.

How to Play

The cheap creatures (Bonded Construct, Thraben Inspector and Ornithopter) should ensure that Frogmite and Myr Enforcer can be played pretty fast and cheap to put some pressure on your opponent. Only Ornithopter and Auriok Sunchaser have evasion (flying) so it might be a little tricky getting through a strong, ground based, defense.
Confront the Unknown profits from a high number of clue tokens on the field, so if you don't need additional carddraw try to safe up the tokens.
Mirran Mettle and Vines of Vastwood also can give your creatures that extra little power to get through your opponents defense.
The sideboard features Root Out, a spell that can be used against decks that play artifacts or enchantments and Toil to Renown to help against fast decks and get some life back.
