Deck Description

[u]Basic Idea[/u]
I stumbled upon [[Gulf Squid]] while looking through some old cards and thought that this one might be a good core-creature for a control deck.

[u]Tests[/u]
I have tested this deck against other pauper decks. The decks I tested against are a mixture of Control and Aggro and the result are recorded in a spreadsheet. If you're interested in details from the spreadsheet, feel free to ask.

[u]Conclusions from the tests[/u]
The deck works and it's always fun to see the frustration on your opponents face when you flicker [[Gulf Squid]] on their turn, freezing all their mana. The problem is that aggressive decks simply overrun you, as it does feature some cards to flicker creatures from your opponent, but it lacks something to permanently deal with them.

I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.

How to Play

A detailed deck description will follow after the tests.
[[Gulf Squid]] with a flicker effect like [[Ephemerate]] can render all your opponents lands useless, leaving him 1 land he can play per turn.
[[Displace]] can be used to flicker high-quality targets, like [[Faerie Miscreant]] or [[Mulldrifter]] and with a [[Pegasus Guardian // Rescue the Foal]] on the board you will even get a 1/1 flying token.
