you are correct yes, and after game 1 which i presumably lose, i sideboard out symmetry all together.So do you think i should run 4 copies of leyline in sb in place of nihil? maybe drop snap for fae mac?To help with earlier turns, i could run 4 main surgicals and run 2 copies of extirpate in the sb.As far as shelldock goes, are you recommending I dont run it at all? Im not sold on them to begin with as is, so if its not worth the risk i dont care if i dropped them. Just seemed like a popular choice in similar decks.Aggro decks scare me honestly, im not sure if i can hope to race them or not with the help of crypt incursion keeping me alive, or if i need to have a sideboard board wipe.. which im not really running enough lands atm to use consistently. Thoughts?
hey, i think your going to want more lands. Those 4 and 5 mana spells are going to rot in your hand while you wait for land more often than not. With your current mana curve you probably want about 22 lands. Im assuming your just playing with your friends so maybe your games last a long time, but id still runn 22 lands, at the least 20. hey thanks for the comment. I mainboard 2 surgicals and 2 extirpates with more on the sideboard alongside nihil spellbomb, and crypt incursion. So all in all, i have 12 graveyard hate spells post side boarding to help deal with that
would definitely run Baleful strix over Tidehollow. If your just looking for a chump blocker, the extra damage from Tidehollow is irrelevant and Baleful cantrips. I dont love Dash hopes in here, mainly because your only running 20 lands so odds are that your likely tapping out on your turn and wont have the double black available. The other problem with Dash, is that it will never do the thing you want it to do, so you cant really rely on it.I dont love cancel either, your not really a control deck, and you dont have enough mana to be able to play threats and counter spells.I would include Thoughtcast, it should be very easy to cast in your deck.I would also run a couple welding jar to keep your important artifact creatures alive I would run Ornithopter over memnite for the flying. Will be beneficial once you get steel overseer counters on it etc.I would definitely include some dual lands, even if its just 4 drowned catacombsGood luck!
Honestly i don't know lol. I mean all your cards work pretty well with each other so its hard to pick a bad card. I suppose blasphemous act isn't great for you, but i guess if you need a wipe, you need a wipe lol. Tough call man, just feels weird having a 100 card goblin deck without goblin grenade!
Lol in all seriousness buddy, its a great deck and i hate playing against it. However looking at your lands i do have a couple suggestions. Drop 1 field of ruin for a 4th bloodstained mire. helps thin your deck out with the extra fetch, and makes your starting hands a bit less risky. I know Bloodmoon isnt a huge threat to you, but it can lock you out of black completely. Id drop 1 mountain to run 1 basic swamp just to be safe. Cheers brother

Nice deck, love all the different sfm decks. I am really digging the gearhulk in the sideboard.My only thoughts are perhaps an extra sword in the mainboard, or just a different one. FaF is a great sword but i think its the weakest in comparison with LaS and FaI. Id also like to see an alpine moon or something in the sideboard for the tron match up, but thats just preference. Solid deck!
Im not a legacy player, but looks like a solid, intelligently built deck. Good to know that Tron doesn't just ruin Modern players lives lol

yes im replying to myself lol.. I actually left this website about 4 years ago. i thought for sure that it would be long dead by now. I was so frustrated with the site that i myself became quite toxic towards the "popular" decks, which mainly consisted of super budget 1 trick pony combo decks. It was impossible to get feedback on anything that didnt fall into that category. Even now just looking around, its full of EDH lists with 100 cards and no descriptions on anything. But anyways, im back again i guess and il do what i can to try and boost other decks i find interesting without being a toxic bastard in the process. Nice post @Tylowrath
