Are there any obviously useful cards I'm missing ?

Took a lot of your advise, although I didn't add blue, I'll save that for a separate deck.
Also I made quite a few of my own changes, most notably, browbeat and noble purpose.

... huh Bloodforged Battle Axe, doesn't seem to be in their database,
I looked it up elsewhere and yea it's pretty awesome.

My idea behind the creature gains shadow abilities was to play them on my opponents attackers for a surprise block from my equipped creatures, probably not the best plan as this deck is half baked at best.

I've only noticed he two of you so far.
Yea I haven't been on there in like forever though,
Mostly because my employers started blocking it...
about 10 years ago ..?

Actually I was trying to find some of WickedDarkman old articles
when I stumbled across this site last week.
Only to find that he is still making deck simulations/evolutions.

I was playing in a similar environment a few years back.

You mentioned you where looking for a few unusual card suggestions:
For life gain: Authority of the Consuls & Path of Bravery & Orim's Prayer & Ordeal of Heliod
For removal: Karmic Justice & Gorilla Shaman & Oblivion Ring
for card drawing: Inheritance & (Pursuit of Knowledge + Solitary Confinement )

I find Jace's Archivist works great with Undead Alchemist and Jace's Erasure.

You could substitute Encroaching Wastes or Tectonic Edge for ghost quarters.

Have you considered adding cards like Demolish or Plunder that destroy artifacts or lands for a little versatility ?

ahh ok so the combo is
Presence of Gond + Midnight Guard = infinite 1/1 elf tokens

might be worth swapping the lions for a similar power soldier card.

I applaud your creativity, I drew a few sample hands,
and miraculously it seemed to work. Although I'm still
not sure how you plan on getting enough mana for the hydra.

I managed To whittle it down to 26 land....
after limiting all the legendry's to 1 copy and reducing some of the
more mana intensive cards to 1 or 2 copies.

Curiously this also puts my creature count as 26 as well.
also I seem to have an equal amount of artifacts and enchantments.

Interesting, so he suggest 28 for my deck ... (seems a bit excessive IMHO)
but what do I discount for an infinite green mana combo ?

Really more land ?
I typically use 20 land when my average CC is 3.
