Deck discussion for Surprize attack

I say unless your whole strategy revolves around the 5 drops ditch them for lands because 18 is barely enough for 3 mana by turn 3.

Obviously it the 4 drops are easier to cut then try that first.

Yeah, with only 18 lands this deck cant reliably cast anything that costs more than 3 mana.

Also, if you truly want to run a Gotcha type deck. you need to give this stuff "flash" (aka leyline of anticipation) . The wording of the cards you picked often requires the opponents thing to "sucessfully" resolve, so casting something in response should still work.

Would any of the assorted "... trap" instant spells from Zendikar fit your concept?

Oh..... actually "leyline of anticipation" might be a brilliant twist on this idea.

let see if I can shuffle around my sideboard to fit It in.
I'll have the check out that Zen card cycle.

Ok, I cut out 3 expensive cards for 3 more lands (one of each.)
