Deck Description

The way the wording was on Dubious Challenge gave me a win-win idea for a deck; why not choose a lesser creature who could give me full control of an epic, pain-in-the-butt creature my opponent would be sure to pick of the two? Either choice of theirs gets you the titan on turn 4. Beggars will be choosers.

How to Play

You know you're going to need Dubious Challenge, so if you don't already have it in hand, that's the top priority. Turn 1 you should be able to play a "land dropper" and can start speeding up your resources next turn. Turn 2, play Cream of the Crop if you have it. Turn 3 you can play a powerful creature to get you searching the top of your library for the Challenge if you don't have it already. Next turn, cast it and choose an expensive creature and some type of "flickering" creature. Either choice your opponent makes leaves you with your expensive creature by the end of the turn. You can figure it out from there.

Deck discussion for Challenge Excepted

Firstly, filling out the Description and / or How to Play sections helps others with what direction you're trying to go with your deck. It'll also help me give more constructive suggestions, rather than just asking questions.

Dubious Challenge has a major flaw: the opponent chooses first. You have already worked around that the best way I could find, with Flickerwisp and Glimmerpoint Stag. While I know how this works, telling others via the Description and / or How to Play would be nice.

I see the point of Groundbreaker, but not Force of Savagery. Unless you're using it as a bad card the opponent won't choose to trigger Cream of the Crop. Again, a Description would help.

Sakura-Tribe Scout does exactly what Skyshroud Ranger does, but isn't limited to your turn. Normally won't make much difference, but there are cases where it will, like the opponent attacking with Goblin Guide or casting Expedite on it just to draw a card (I've seen this happen multiple times).

I've had the deck in private status for some time and just wanted to update the finishing touches to the construction of the deck. I'm aware people prefer a convenient how-to-play, but I just haven't gotten to it yet. It will be made later when it's convenient for me, as it is late atm where I live and I am ready to sleep soon. Patience is a virtue, virtues are exercises, and I guess this situation makes me a fitness instructor, but if you're interested in the deck, I hope you'll stay tuned.

You know how the Challenge works, so there's no flaw. Simply pick out one of the expensive creatures and one of either flickering creatures and it won't matter which they pick. If they first choose the biggie, you flicker it with the other. If they first choose the flicker creature, you get the biggie anyway. The high power, low cost creatures are simply for triggering Cream of the Crop as you mentioned, and it is only in there for bettering the probability of getting the Challenge next turn if you don't already have it. I chose both of the land droppers to better the chances of getting one by turn 1 or so. They were the best candidates for the job as they both cost 1 CMC.

I will try to have more info up before I make a deck viewable in the future. I didn't expect to get views and comments so soon if at all. I go pretty unnoticed if you can't tell. Thank you for the interest, time, patience, and advice. I hope you enjoyed peeking at the deck and have a great weekend!
