Deck Description

This deck spawns a bunch of thopter tokens, boosts their power, and has a little versatility in perks and defense. Just a simple UR token deck. #whynotthrowafewsolringsintheretomakeitillegal?

How to Play

Put out a Smuggler or Sol Ring turn 1 to get things started. After that, it really doesn't matter what you play next as long as you start getting thopters out there in case you need to block. Apply some power boosts and draw engines and now you have an army rising. Flicker the Whirler Rogue or the Nalaars with the Closet or Smuggler for 2 more thopters a pop. Everything in here is pretty simple and straightforward.

Thopter Assembly in sideboard?

The main reason is because I wanted to keep the average CMC for the deck as low as possible. I also try to put multiples of cards that do certain things so that the probability/reliability of the deck operating as it's made to do meets or exceeds. Sharding Sphinx was an exception in that it practically copies your thopters, whereas the Assembly simply puts out 6 at one time and then just sits pretty. It's a good card, don't get me wrong, but I saw it as somewhere between inefficient and obsolete to the other candidates in the mainboard. I'm all ears to other/further suggestions though. I learn as much as I can in as many ways as I can, and although most simple-themed decks I build are just a "what would my __ deck look like if I made one...", they have to be fun enough to want to be built in the first place. I'm all ears. :)
