I like your ideas here. You want to do big damage. Red burn is tough to have expensive spells and likes to stay cheap and wants go fast to be effective. I would think about running some Extraplanar Lens in this deck. Also work on having those test draws give you something tangible to work with in your opening 7 cards. There shouldn't be a lot of cards there that you wont be casting for 4-5 turns. Good luck and keep tinkering.
