Deck Description

It won't get any simplier than this!

This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

As mentioned, this deck is meant to be as simple and as cheap beginner deck as possible. In addition to the game's basic rules and card types, there are only a few details a player must know in order to play this deck:
- Flying. This deck relies quite heavily on flying creatures in order to win the game. Creatures with flying cannot be blocked while attacking by creatures without flying, so you'll be able to damage your opponent more reliably. The creatures in this deck are tailored so the player playing it will find at least a couple of cards with the keyword actually spelled out on it so they can remind themselves of it when needed.
- First strike. Creatures with first strike deal their damage in combat before creatures without first strike, meaning they can often kill other creatures without taking damage themselves. Try to combine first strike with instant-speed buff ups for some surprising maneuvers!
- Exile. One of this deck's removal cards, Blessed Light, utilizes exile as their function. When you exile a card, it is removed from the game and most often cannot return in any way. This is especially handy against creatures which are really hard to kill or against opponents who excel at returning cards they own back from the dead.

Instead of a normal sideboard, this deck contains a three example dimensions into which this deck could possibly be developed. These dimensions include LIFEGAIN, EQUIPMENT or TOKENS, each of which requiring some new information to function. The "sets of cards" for each of these examples are following:

- LIFEGAIN:
1. 4x Sungrace Pegasus
2. 2x Healer's Flock
3. 4x Ajani's Pridemate

- EQUIPMENT:
1. 4x Bonesplitter
2. 4x Trusty Machete
3. 2x Militant Inquisitor

- TOKENS:
1. 4x Raise the Alarm
2. 2x Release the Dogs
3. 4x Benalish Marshal

Pros:
+ Can begin its assault early on, while still being a threat to its opponents throughout the game with a wide variety of flying creatures.
+ A cheap way to begin.
+ A lot of directions to develop into.

Cons:
- Several of this deck's cards are low-powered: it is suggested to develop this deck further as its player hones their skills.
