Deck Description

Let's get nasty my favorite way - via "Rakdos Choices"!
(This deck is a pseudo-tribute to the Core Set 2015 Intro Pack "Infernal Intervention".)

This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

This deck is meant for beginners - those who are new to MTG, perhaps even as their very first deck. It has cards that are simple to understand and utilize, and have ways of interacting with opponents that are both silly and entertaining. Long story short: the goal is to have a deck that is both cheap and fun to play - a.k.a. perfect for kitchen table casual gameplay!

This deck is based around CHOICES. These choices are mostly made by your opponents - which card to discard, which creature to sacrifice, whether to lose HP or allow you to gain other benefits. Burglar Rat causes opponents to discard, while Browbeat and Blightning can turn really nasty as soon as your opponent's HP starts running low. Constant sacrifices made to Demon's Disciple and Indulgent Tormentor make every turn worse than the last.

The sideboard lets you customize the deck a little bit, and contains cards otherwise a bit too complicated for immediate starters. You can either take the deck into a bit more offensive, discard-based build (pop in Bone Shards, Terminal Agony and/or Gisa's Bidding) or even perhaps some sacrifice-synergized one (Barter in Blood and Kardur's Vicious Return).
