Deck Description

Welcome to the NorthernWarlord's Budget Decks -series!

These decks are meant to inspire you and your playgroup to create simple, cheap decks and challenge each other! Can you and your friends find out who can dominate the battlefield by spending as little as possible on your cards?

The main idea of each budget deck is to have a medium budget of 10 to 20 dollars (sideboard included). Feel free to leave card suggestions down in the comment section below! Also, if you want to see a specific budget deck in the near future, let me know and I most likely can cook up one for ya!

How to Play

Bolas and his boys bring some undead spookiness onto the battlefield!

This deck is about creating as huge zombie army as possible. Cast effective creatures and cunning spells to overcome enemies and overwhelm their defenses!

- As soon as the game starts, you should try to get your army up and going. Grim Initiate and Lazotep Reaver are both handy examples of cards that get the job done!

- Having trouble keeping your army up? Lazotep Plating gives your boys an instant speed hexproof, preventing them from dying all out of sudden. You can also try Bolt Bend from the sideboard to save your boys from danger!

- When the game gets going, some creatures can make sure your army becomes unstoppable! Dreadhorde Twins and Gleaming Overseer are mere examples of such creatures!

- The sideboard offers cunning alternatives to your cards, allowing you to overcome opponents in almost any scenario!

Aven eternal is good but crush dissent isnt great. The number one thing you want from a counterspell is to counter. a soft counter that's bad for its mana isnt good because of amass.

10th of November.
The following "users" updates their decks, which all contain name variations on retard
Only a couple of them has been active a few days before, and all have been dormant for years.

Mlgsuperstar
Lol guy
Pro James
Jpmaag
Retardednuke
Bioshocker
Hasturtu
Warhamm3r
Even untgaarde
Kirbok
Explodingzombieweeds
Thejohnbomb
Vincentitytm
Toenailsofglory
Shuyin2cool
Jflo
Asdf
Dknight27
Garf103
Foodmaniac

Most of these "users" don't engage in the community and just copy decks onto their pages.
It's most likely the troll copying decks from all around the other users.
Each deck can be transferred in the future to other accounts.

Right now a couple of the oldest of these "users" are copying a lot of the 2020 meta,
Probably because the troll is about to create new accounts that blend in better.

And because few users look at decks these days, all the copying is being overlooked by the majority.
It's a neat peace of camouflage, but once your learn the spot the code words his "users" have in common, it's easy to track him down.

These current actions were found by searching for decknames with retard in them.
He's on the move and will likely try to create a new code word within days to create an all new nest for himself.
Then he'll do a low profile and warm up slowly again.

He slowly uses his accounts to update "each other" so he can bury any interesting decks deep in his muck.

Everytime I write a community rally he buries it by using a single account that gets it's decks commented or liked.
That's how I spotted parts of his routines in the first place.

If all these accounts share the same or a couple of IP address we could lock him down for good.

I'm also thinking of tracking his activity cycle to get an idea of when he is usually most active. Then I'll know how to track him down with ease next time.

I'm also thinking of an all out activity war, because even though he doesn't really do any work, I'm pretty sure I can have a much higher activity than him, and with new contents each and every time.

Easiest way is to remind him of how weak an intellect he really is.
He's rather outclassed.

When I profiled him I was told by this "bask" that I had lost my shit, and now he's obviously trying to test your attention.

Woah, you sure have gone through a lot of work to find out all of this.
Quite impressive, considering the current state of this website. Not many would want to pull through with it.
I hope your effort pays off.

It's a gut reaction for me.
I'm a problem solver, he's a problem.
Challenge accepted as they say.
I also learn more about how a site works behind the scenes.
I like to have the full picture of my world.

Also in the past I was marked as a troll by the mtgsalvation wiki.
I had access to an unlimited number of IP addresses so I actually trolled them for a week to show how I would have been as a troll. They caved in and we struck a deal.

But the idea of trolling made me curious at what motivates them. So I started on psychology.
Most of my adversity against the troll is a distorted curiosity. I'm one of those functional asperger syndromes so I have a different drive and line of thought ;)

Now that you have this list you can see how he reacts by using several ids to plaster my post down.
I usually only manage to get three likes before he has luck in burying it, so I've started escalating, and I even taunt him. If you got any connections in here, tip them off, it's risk free to like my post.

I'm dedicated to all things I do, but I regret not having dedicated myself to athletics and womanizing ;)
I also think too fast sometimes and have to readjust everything.
In the case of the troll I have taken it a bit more slowly to avoid mistakes.
Wouldn't want to accuse someone wrongly. But to my horror I have discovered a way to improve the trolls procedures, so I cross my fingers that he'll never discover that method. For obvious reasons I'm not going to talk about it :)
But let's just say I could become a worse troll if I ever learned myself how to gain a lot of profiles ;)

Maybe you could do a "how to be supportive" post/repost ?

I guess I could, but after a lot of my friends mostly stopped using mtgvault, neither have I for a while. I wouldn't want to be not practicing what I preach.

You would be supportive by writing it ;)
It might be a single occasion, but everything counts as they say :)

Don't make an effort out of it though, because then you might lose heart.
