Deck Description

Do not mistake this deck to be focusing on the 'Ally' creature type.
I merely decided to craft a series of ally-colored decks with a lot of newbie friendliness! If you are unfamiliar with what "ally-colored" means, let me explain it to you:

Since the game of MTG is separated into five different colors, each and every one of them provides the game with their own unique aspects. The colors can be aligned into a "color wheel" which explains their co-operations and clashes with other colors. The wheel could be visioned as following (apologies for the poor image quality):
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mtgsalvation_gamepedia/images/e/e1/Color_Wheel.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20060415063339

So, colors aligned next to each other (Red and Green, for example,) could be called ALLIED colors, because they share some of the same aspects between each other. The colors on the opposite sides of the wheel are called ENEMY colors, since the themes they include clash with each other more than with the allied colors. This doesn't mean that enemy-colored decks cannot be made, but the themes and synergies between allied colors are often easier to grasp. In conclusion, utilize this knowledge pondering the colors when crafting your decks!

This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

Chomp, chomp - the tastiest dudes are most often found on your side of the table!

With this red-black deck, you don't really mind your dudes dying. In fact, most of the time you'll be the one wishing to kill your dudes yourself! Utilize several different critters and death-effects in combination to overcome your enemies!

The sideboard allows for options to upgrade the deck towards:
Adding 4x Blightning and 2x Remorseless Punishment at the cost of 2x Recover, 1x Havengul Vampire, 1x Village Rites, 1x Careless Celebrant and 1x Goblin Instigator lets you add some sweet "choice"-options for your opponents, which is my favorite deck type! Removing 1x Reassembling Skeleton, Reckless Celebrant and Goblin Instigator for 3x Sanitarium Skeletons, before removing 1x Innocent Blood, 1x Village Rites, 1x Havengul Vampire and 1x Blazing Hellhound for 4x Smallpoxes makes this deck take its first steps towards a discard-oriented deck. Lastly, 2x Living Lightning can be added at the cost of 1x Careless Celebrant and 1x Havengul Vampire to provide more possibilities to recycle your instants and sorceries!

Before we head into the statistics, let's see what a player needs to know before playing this deck:
- Token. A token is a card on the battlefield generated by an effect of another card (such as Goblin Instigator, for example). It functions perfectly just as any other card, with the exception that it can never leave the battlefield and return: the moment it leaves it (by dying, for example,) it is gone forever. You can use any items to mark the tokens on the battlefield, as long as every player is clear on what which item represents, are those cards tapped, etc.

Statistics: (out of 5)
- Deck Speed: <><><> (How quick the deck is?)
- Creature Focus: <><><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)
- Creature Size: <><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)
- Card Synergy: <><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)
- Card Value: <><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)
- Level of Complexity: <> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)

Pros:
+ Capable of turning dying creatures into advantage!
+ Contains a lot of small creatures which can easily grow into formidable threats, provided enough time.

Cons:
- Winning is quite dependant on a few key cards: try to keep those safe!
