Deck Description

"They must know it was the rats; the slithering, scurrying rats whose scampering will never let me sleep; the daemon rats that race behind the padding in this room and beckon me down to greater horrors than I have ever known; the rats they can never hear; the rats, the rats in the walls."

This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

You'll need more than just a single black cat to handle all these rats!

I merely realized it had been a while since I made a rat tribal, especially since it has been one of my favorite ones for the longest time. This deck especially focuses on those cuddly little pals, not the "furry-esque" goons that we've seen in Kamigawa, for example. This deck was quite a long time coming, since I've had troubles with my PC lately. Everything runs smoother now, so worry not: More decks will be surely on their way!

And now, back to the deck: Cast a rat or two, then recycle them for some handy benefits. Your opponent will surely be going INSANE from the "CRAFTY LOVE" these rats will release upon them. They will absolutely will be looking for the nearest black cat, yelling something like: "I'm going insane! Help me Ni-"

Pros:
+ A lot of cuddly little friends!

Cons:
- Because most of the rats are on the weaker side power-wise, this deck is quite reliant on a few key piece cards! Keep an eye out!

Deck discussion for BD: Rats in the Walls

The rats in the wall is actually one of the works of lovecraft that stands a good chance of becoming a film.

The only thing the producer needs to do is expand a little on the underground city after they breach the wall. Having some expedition members split up and encounter some of the grim stuff individually before the expedition leaders figure out things and they all run for their lives.

Yea, it happens to be one of the works I've also read.
I know a friend of mine who is sort of a "Lovecraft-enthusiast", so it is partially the reason I've been reading them through. My wife also bought me a collection of Lovecraft's best stories, which I have read a couple of, meaning I really could just pick up my pace and read through them all.
