Elder Dragon Highlander (or EDH for short), is my current and perhaps even all-time favorite game mode of Magic. It allows certain strategies to come into fruition that are almost impossible to pull off in other formats. One of these is known as CHAOS: A deck that attempts to create the most chaotic, unpredictable and uncontrollabe situations as possible, all the while trying to win the game by doing so.I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. Time to get crazy! With this deck, your whole purpose is to cast a whole bunch of peculiar spells, with the intent of achieving the most advantage from the continous chaos.The commander itself, Averna, provides you with some additional mana ramp if you manage to keep her around. She isn't necessary for this deck's strategies, but extra mana has never hurt anyone, right?While playing, your chances at striking down foes alone aren't that great. So, don't feel bad about getting a bit political in the game as well! Try casting a curse or two on an opponent, make deals with other players when needed, and keep an eye open for weaknesses in opposing defenses, for this deck can explode really fast! Cards like Frenzied Saddlebrute and Frontier Warmonger are both not only aggressive, but very political as well! Try to make use of haste along with cards like Temur Charm (can't block -feature) and/or Berserkers' Onslaught (double damage via combat) to unleash hell on foes out of nowhere!Just remember, whatever you do, this deck is meant to be CASUAL and FUN above all else. Make sure everyone is having a good time, whether taking a deal from you to make sure they'll survive for a turn or two longer, or watching you tumble into a Mindclaw Shaman from Gamekeeper's trigger, then targeting an opponent and copying something nasty with Swarm Intelligence. This deck is VERY unpredictable, and it is meant for tables and people which care for such random, silly trickery, such as myself. Try to have fun!
