Deck Description

Oh, these omens do not bode well for you...

This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

Not going to lie, this could be one of the weirdest ones I've ever pulled off. This deck combines several different elements under a single commander, including sacrifice, artifacts, card draw and creature-copying.

Inga mostly provides you with card advantage, rather than any win condition or similar benefit. You can drop her a bit earlier on to provide scrying, then you can pop her later on alongside with a couple more others in order to draw bonus cards.

Ways to "pop" Inga effectively include, but are not limited to:
- Sacrificing several creatures at once to Demonmail Hauberk
- Triggering Nevinyrral's Disk
- Letting Inga go to the grave instead of the command zone, then "bringing her back" with God-Pharaoh's Gift or Back from the Brink.
- Casting a kicked Rite of Replication, targeting Inga (all the copies die instantly because of the Legend Rule, letting you scry 3 five times, then draw 3 cards five times)
- Sacrificing Iridescent Drake several times in a row before saccing Inga. (If you have the Drake and False Demise / Fool's Demise, the drake always comes back after dying. Consider winning via infinite combo with Demonmail Hauberk and Selhoff Cultist!)
