Deck Description

I will make a deck around all the monocolored elder dinosaurs, and you can't stop me! Here's the first, I'll link the rest below:

This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

Yea, I guess this one counts as a Voltron deck, since all it does is manaramp and drop Zetalpa. The few other big creatures can hold opponents down and proceed to kick ass if needed so, but Zetalpa is always assumed to be the main attraction. Take this into notion!

Ramp up some mana using conventional mana rocks and dudes that allow you to thin down "inequalities" among lands. After this, drop Zetalpa and go to town. Try to keep Zetalpa on board by using cards like Gods Willing, Shelter and Blacksmith's Skill, even though Zetalpa's own indestructibility helps a lot. If you manage to keep your commander, wipe everything repeatedly via powerful effects like Fated Retribution and Shatter the Sky (which won't kill your commander you know).

Pros:
+ Ways to answer many different threats.
+ A lot of boardwipes makes for a hard living for more aggressive players!

Cons:
- A "one-trick-pony" type of a deck. Without your commander, winning becomes a burden of sorts.
- Outside of boardwipes, this deck has quite poor card advantage.
