Deck Description

Why settle for your toys when you can play with others'?

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

Stealing resources from other players has always been a lot of fun. This deck is no exception!

Cause players to mill and discard, then grab whatever they drop down to their 'yards. This deck gets silly real quick, especially against creature-heavy decks!
- Whatever happens, remember that opposing graveyards are your toolkit. Maintain high quality graveyards with cards like Overwhelmed Apprentice, Bad Deal, Shared Trauma, Thought Collapse, Codex Shredder, Court of Cunning and The Eldest Reborn.
- Once something sweet ends down there, grab it by using cards like Rakshasa Debaser, Beacon of Unrest, Extract from Darkness and Fated Return. Protect your stolen goods with counterspells and you should be good to go!

Deck discussion for BEDH: Graverobber

So I actually purchased this exact deck, as you designed. Figured I'd try it out cuz it had most of the mechanics I was working on.
After playing quite a few games with it I have only substituted 2 cards out.
Bad Deal and Sepulchral Primordial were swapped out for God-Eternal Kefnet and Nemesis of Reason.
I've found through some trial and error that this maximizes the mill effects and all instants or sorceries, and that all my friends hate this deck.
Thank you for this creation.

I'm glad to hear you found this deck playable! :D

I am also glad that you decided to swap some cards out. It is the best way to truly know which cards fit your playstyle the most. Both of the cards you mentioned cost just a teeny bit too high to include in my ready-to-play deck plans, but I can see why they would work out really well.

To me the Primordial has always been a huge playmaker in my casual EDH games, so I'm always happy to include one in the deck. Bad Deal on other hand is an ok draw spell, which works alright in casual multiplayer EDH environments. I can still understand cutting them.

I am very happy to hear someone is still considering building a deck or two from my designs. It seems all my effort hasn't been wasted after all! If you need a custom budget design, feel free to request one. You can use it as a base for your own designs later on.
