Deck Description

Roguishly handsome... or handsomely roguish?

This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

Zareth San might not be everyone's first pick to be a dimir rogues commander, but boy he sure plays fun! Whenever he smacks someone up you can grab a card from their yard for your personal use - what could be funnier?

Zareth's ability to drop himself onto the field from your hand doesn't work from the command zone, but luckily this deck has some ways of taking advantage of this: return Zareth San to your hand using cards like Curfew, Aether Tradewinds or Geistwave, or perhaps even drop Zareth dead into your 'yard just to grab him back using a card like Soul Manipulation or even Raise the Draugr!

Outside of Zareth, this deck plays like any other roguish tribal deck: drop a handful of annoying creatures onto the field, then take benefit from their abilities as they repeatedly loot your opponents of their resources.
