Deck Description

I will make a deck around all the monocolored elder dinosaurs, and you can't stop me! Here's the second, I'll link the rest below:

This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

The third one in the WUBRG-order: Tetzimoc!

Tetzimoc might seem like a weird pick for a commander. Sure, they cannot use their "prey-marking" -ability from the command zone, but there are ways you can utilize him. Do it something like this:
- Get mana to cast Tetzimoc.
- Cast Tetzimoc.
- Sacrifice Tetzimoc, then proceed to put him into your GRAVEYARD instead of the command zone.
- Use one of the many graveyard-retrieval effects to get Tetzimoc into your hand.
- Use Tetzimoc as you otherwise would.

I know, it does require a couple of extra steps, but Tetzimoc CAN indeed be used as a functioning commander. Not too competetive, perhaps, but a silly and entertaining casual commander nevertheless. If you are interested, I suggest you give him a go!

Besides Tetzimoc, this deck functions rather well as a by-the-book mono black sacrifice EDH deck. Drop dudes, then use their lives to fuel your sinister plans. Drag a few of them back from your yard for a round two, then repeat these steps again and again. It really doesn't get much simplier, but I think that's alright, considering the complicated nature of running Tetzimoc as the captain.
