Deck Description

This specific EDH deck was inspired by the user @wickeddarkman.
Why settle on serious when you can get silly?

This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.
https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Commander_(format)

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

This deck is not about the card "Switcheroo", if that's what you came here for. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Instead, it is about extreme switching between aggressive and defensive, hunkering down when something's going on and striking after the dust has settled.

This deck runs a LOT of defensive creatures, which I think is fine. You'll need all the defenses you can get while you wait for the proper moment to act. Once it is time, charge with your dudes, either buffing them up with effects that let toughness do the work or swapping their power and toughness at the last moment when they have decided their blocks (using cards like Twisted Image and such).

Not gonna lie: it won't get much weirder than this. If you are actually trying to win in your local games, consider grabbing something else before this. Even if this deck has a graveyard-ish subtheme, it still should be considered a "toughness-matters" type of a deck for a color combination that doesn't support it as well as it could, at least commander-wise. Tasigur can surely make a deal or two with your opponents and constantly provide you with card advantage, but should be considered more of a "side player" in this deck.

Anything left unsure? Be sure to ask in the comment section below. This deck is one helluva wild ride, so I don't believe everyone's gonna properly understand it.

Pros:
+ A lot of smaller defenders will most likely keep you alive the early game, no matter what happened.
+ Can surprise foes with damage almost out of nowhere.
+ Ways to utilize the graveyard if the game drags on.
+ Very silly to play in casual games.

Cons:
- Low on interaction, meaning this deck suffers greatly against combo.
- A bit low synergy, meaning you could get stuck with incompatible cards.
- You'll need specific cards to pull off your synergies. Luckily this deck has a few tutors!
- This deck gets surprisingly wholeheartedly rekt by graveyard-hate, despite it not being this deck's main theme.

Deck discussion for BEDH: Wicked Switcheroo

Oh, I just have to get me a set of phase dolphin, to put in any deck, and when someone asks about it, I'll say
"Oh, that, I put it in during my dolphin phase"

That will switch their eyes :)

It's not one I prioritize highly, but I can tell that red has very few usefull things, blue has some more and artifacts might be an addition.

A lot of blue and red cards have zero power, so if you give +1/+× you can then get swifty.

Another fun detail is that some high toughness creatures have the ability to return instants to the hand.
To me it seems like they are slowly feeding this theme because most of these cards are new.

Just to clarify, I'm talking about pow/tough switching phase dolphin deck :)
