Because it's ability also applies to itself.
I don't know if it's worth it for 6 mana... A Pillar of Flames gets rid of it pretty easily.

When they target poor flayer with pillar you could always throw fling or artillerize, or heck, even thunderous wrath on the stack. That way it comes back and has it's effect.

lol, no problem. Sometimes folks just need to think outside of the box. BTW I would do the following:-2 Artillerize+2 Fling
How about:-1 Artillerize+1 Fling?
That will work a bit better I think.
I'm definitely gonna order this deck off of TCG player. It's only 8$ and it looks like it could be really good! A lot of pretty sweet combos! :D very nice deck man keep them up!

Do you think there could be anyway to make the deck a little faster? After play testing it the 6 cost creatures turn out to be dead draws and I'm finding myself stuck early game. And against an aggro deck it's usually GG against me in less then 5 turns.
Maybe Geosurge?Or, try to add Krenko's Command and/or Dragon Fodder with Brightstone Ritual! (It gets you some mana and also sacrificible creatures!)
