Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

Inspired by joeyburnette.
At least this one looks good on paper... Not sure would it work in real playing situation. Hope this works.

So, this deck's basic idea is to cast Mogg Fanatics, Spitemares and Stuffy Dolls which like when you deal damage to them, then cast cards like Blasphemous Act to finish off your opponent immediately.

Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Doll goes BOOM

Looks good on paper, I'll throw it together and see how it plays. :)

That's what I thought too. I hope for the best.

I would add in some "Creepy Doll" "Heep Doll" and "Voodoo Doll" cards since by the title it seems like you are going for a doll theme :). OF course that would mean ditching some that you already have here.

I do like the plan that you have here but I noticed that you have some higher mana cost spells, but low amounts of mana in your deck, and nothing that lets you draw extra cards or play extra land. That could end up being and issue :(

I think Seething Song or Desperate Ritual might not be a bad idea. I think this is a brilliant deck, but there is a pretty good chance of flopping on your mana. Armillary Sphere or Semblance Anvil would work great, too. Also, I would swap out Into the Maw of Hell for Shivan Meteor; you will do the same damage for less mana, and since Stuffy Doll is indestructible, you can suspend Shivan Meteor, with no fear of Stuffy Doll being killed. Just throwing out a few ideas.

Consider finding space for Nomads en-Kor or Outrider en-Kor: really good at redirecting damage onto your Stuffy. Carom is also a neat cantrip to have. I ran a really similar deck, though it was reliant on some rares.

Non-common stuff that's also good to consider if you want to shell out the $$$

1) Darksteel Plate
2) Pariah
3) High Priest of Penance
4) Phyrexian Obliterator
5) Souls of the Faultless
6) Boros Reckoner
7) Lust for War

I guess you haven't realized that this deck has 20 buck budget...

Check my first sentence again. There's some great budget cards in there. ;)

Reckoner and obliterator are certainly NOT budget cards at all. Although I guess just of the other cards are fairly cheap.

For Christ's sake people read the whole post.

BUDGET

NOMADS EN-KOR
OUTRIDER EN-KOR
CAROM

THESE ONES ^^^ LOOK AT THESE ONES ^^^

THE OTHER STUFF IS NOT BUDGET BUT COULD BE ADDED IF YOU'RE WILLING TO SPEND EXTRA

I checked those cards last time too… I just don't know what to remove… I don't want to remove burn spells… I don't want to remove those who am I dealing damage...

I still think that pariah would be a good addition. :) or shield of the pariah perhaps. (pariah's shield? cant remember which one it is.)

Shivian Meteor would make for a nice addition

dictate of the twin gods? stuffy doll will deal 4 damage. than you can flame slash spitemare for 8, spitemare deals 16 to stuffy doll, stuffy doll does 32 to your opponent. Gg. with guilty conscience on him. it deals 64 to stuffy doll. and stuffy doll smacks for 128. than tap stuffy doll. dealing 160 damage with a one mana spell and 180 damage in a turn

cant remember how much it is, but pariah would work wonders in this deck. :)

Maybe something like Indestructability for Mogg Fanatic or Spitemare
Also, this is just plain wrong. Why would you think of a deck like this

Furnace of Rath is a good card, but personally I don't like to play cards that work in my opponents favor as well.
Shivan Meteor is the better choice betwen the two in my opinion tho.

Great deck! Since the only real 'white' card I see is the 1-drop enchantment, I might suggest removing it for red mana ramp (Infernal Plunge) and going mono-red since every other card is red XD

Otherwise, I think this should work great in play as well :)

How about using spells that enable you to cast from the graveyard, enabling you to get twice the value and pound stuffy doll so much more!

Hey Northern, great deck.
Could I see this deck budgeted?

Please keep in mind that in my Dance of the Auramage deck I would like to keep in Kor Spiritdancer.
Thanks so much if you can help!

Oh cool! May I suggest Volcano Hellion, it is fairly cheap (34 cents for one) and can end games in a build like this. I made a similar build (not budget however):

If you venture into black, Spiteful Shadows works really well with Blasphmous Act, often killing your opponent in one shot when combined with Stuffy. I ran a list with this interaction in Innistrad/RTR standard

I revised my Stuffy Doll deck (yet again) and is very similar to this deck. It's not an exact clone of this deck, there ARE a few differences, but I have to give credit to NorWar for a lot of the ideas.

i didnt know how much pariah cost. its just so perfect for stuffy doll

My Stuffy Doll deck was originally red/white with Pariah and Spirit Loop, but I rebuilt it to be mono-red.
But yes, Pariah is perfect with Stuffy Doll.

I would drop Guilty Conscience if I could, but joeyburnette wanted me to do this, and he wanted me to have Guilty Conscience in it, so I'm afraid I can't remove it.

Isnt Boros Reckoner just better than Spitemare?

Yes, but Boros Reckoner is over TWENTY TIMES as priceful as the Spitemare.

*cough cough* 14x ... but who's counting? LOL

0

The only difference between Spitemare and Boros Reckoner is that Reckoner can get First Strike, that and the obvious fact that Reckoner is standard

I just have to point this out ... Pariah + Knight of the Hokey Pokey or Fiendslayer Paladin! You sir have made my two favorite creatures that much better.

Saytr Fire drinker in place of Perilous Myr. Think about it.
