Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

Golgari grows. Golgari feeds. Golgari makes you strong.
Cast great and mighty hydras with this deck, that offer deadly opposition to your opponents. Some of them can grow bigger out there in the field, while others come in big already.

-Corpsejack Menace is hydras' best friend. Who would have thought that Fungus and Hydra can be such a good pair?
-Clockwork Hydra is deadly especially with Corpsejack Menace. It can easily break out of your opponent's control.
-Cards like Predator's Strike and Essence Harvest can even finish off your opponent. They are both deadly and powerful cards... Too bad they are underused.

Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Golgari Hydras

Love corpsejack. Made a deck with him and varloz and phyrexian dreadnaughts in it. Fun stuff!

I love this deck ... have you ever thought of making a hydra-simic deck? (I now this is a budget deck, but doubling seadon would make this deck ridiculous ... maybe even broken)

Noxious revival, wildwood rebirth, and the such, then you could abuse Jarad. Here's the hydra decks I made not too long ago, once again, not exactly budget though.

You know what I bet would be neat in this deck? Fungal Behemoth. He'd be gigantic if you have a few hyrdas out already

Nice suggestion. Fungus and hydras really do work well together!
