Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

This cheap and standard monstrosity deck is made to honor the past Theros block. Even though heroes in Theros were cool, I still preferred those monsters.

*Growling*
Beasts lurk in the undergrowth. Two-headed giant snakes, leucrocotas... While your opponent is distracted by them, death descends from above, while sea is also rumbling.
What is going on? Has world come to it's end?
Maybe, for your opponents.

Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Monsters #2

I would put Fade into Antiquity into sb and add in 2 more Shipbreakers or a Nessian Asp and a Ravenous Leucrocota. Also why Gatecreeper Vine? it sucks! play more big creatures or spells that actually ramp you like Voyaging satyr, but besides that i think this is really original and sweet!

Great deck! Also, since monstrosity has to do a lot with +1/+1 counters, you could potentially benefit from some simic cards like:

1. Bred for the Hunt
2. Give and Take
3. Vorel of the Hull Clade
4. Zameck Guildmage
5. Bioshift

...and so on.

But fun deck and good deck XD

Of all the Monstrous creatures, Fleetfeather Cockatrice would have to be my favorite. Although, it is tied with Fleecemane Lion.

Fleetfeather Cockatrice is great. I really like it too.
I'm not sure that do I prefer the Cockatrice or Shipbreaker Kraken a.k.a Shippy.
