Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

Inspired by magicmaster13.

This might seem pretty much like the other beast decks that I've done, but I just HAD to try the Paragon with beasts! Thank you magicmaster for inspiring me!
So basically:
-Paragon can turn any of your beasts into a trampling tank. Nuff' said.
-Paragon buffs all your creatures equally, so there's no need to be messing up with that.

Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Paragon of Beast

I love the Paragon! I pulled one from one of my first M15 packs and havn't done anything with it yet. Definately will pick up a few more, though when I start playing more green.

Yeah! All the Paragons seem so good! Especially for a budget player like me!

Not sure why I didn't consider this one for my standard-legal Hydra deck, actually. Economical alternative for a couple of my Nyea's, since trample is the major reason she is there.

IMO paragon ruins the deck. im just not sold on them. tried a couple, and 4cmc was just not worthwhile, despite the effect

Now build one for each of the paragons, and everything will be perfect!

Nice deck XD

I don't know, since this is supposed to be mana-friendly beast deck and by the time I'm able to cast the Throwback, my hand is already almost empty.
Thank you for suggesting though.

I could sideboard that.

Why do you always make a deck vintage just because of 1 card?
I don't get it. . .
Anyway the idea is sweet but i would replace 2 Ulvenwald Tracker with 2 Fangren Firstborn.

I agree with TheSwarmer.
I would remove the Spidersilk Armor for a Modern card.

You can easily replace it with Spider Umbra.
This one costs only one mana, and gives +1/+1 instead of +0/+1.

Or gravity well, they are both pretty good and can be used for more purposes.

upvote for Spider Umbra over Sidersilk Armor, bringing the whole deck in to Modern. The obvious drawback being it can only be applied to a single creature, but it's such a good enchantment, and essentially makes its creature indestructible. and I just like to keep things Modern.

I'll sideboard Spidersilk Armor.

Oh man! Leatherback ftw!!! I love it! beasts are the bomb! Do you think you could spare a minute and constructively criticize my newest EDH deck? I'm not sure how well it runs and would like some keen eyes on it please.

Holy moly this deck is awesome! I've been away recently doing some intense study for an extremely important exam soon, and I didn't realise this deck would be made so well. Thanks so much.

the draws r hella clunky tbh. either draw 4 forests and 3 1drop buffs or draw no lands and have everything in your hand be 4drops+

Then it is mostly about luck.
I took three full hands and one of them was so beautiful:
-Kalonian Tusker
-Garruk's Companion
-Leatherback Baloth
-Aspect of Hydra
-3x Forest

Nice to see another Tribal Wars legal deck (outside of the sideboard), and for a very modest price.
Nicely done, especially the modern version (i stick to legacy personally).

For those unfamiliar with the format for Tribal Wars:

I really enjoy your decks, b/c it seems like you are just really having fun creating them instead of trying to be insane about being "unbeatable". This is my favorite from your Paragon series. I have a similar approach-I'm a fan of the cheap and flavorful.

Thanks!
Glad that you like this one! I think the white one might be *a bit* better, but this is also great. Blue was definitely the worst.
