How to Play

Who says Arixmethes has to be played as a Kraken tribal?
This deck attempts a very unique strategy:
It attempts to be a Simic spellcaster.

This deck runs around the idea of casting several spells, making Arixmethes a creature, then proceeding to total destruction of your foe's face. This deck should work the best in 1v1 environments, since multiple players make for difficult time for commander damage.
- Numerous cards, including Talrand, Sky Summoner, Docent of Perfection and Meletis Charlatan make your spellcasting so much easier, while supporting you with alternative win conditions.
- Once Arixmethes is animated, cards like Artful Dodge, Blustersquall and Slinn Voda can help you slip him through with little effort.
- Numerous counterspells, including Negate, Rewind and Unwind help you keep your strategy going while harassing your opponent.
- Archaeomancer + Ghostly Flicker = Infinite card retrieval. Use this to your benefit.
