Probably didn't include it for budget purposes. I'd personally replace the Darksteel Ingot with a Chromantic Lantern if I was gonna run it.

I have to agree, a lot of the Guild Charms are pretty powerful, while the Shard Charms are somewhat... lackluster.
Shard Charms are just as good as the Guild Charms. The only charm in this I feel is a little lackluster is Grixis.
My experience with EDH Slivers is you need a few counter spells for board wipes and a few ways to make your creatures indestructible and/or have hexproof.

Well... It gives Slivers defender, so I would always have some of those three sacrifice-Slivers ready for action and hope that opponent doesn't have kill spells or anything like that... I think that it could be risky.
The cantrip is worth the defender, especially when you can sac or bounce it whenever you want since you can tutor with overlord.

Sliver always have and always will be my favorite tribal deck to make / play. i like how you got it down to an affordable price range as well. My sliver deck has a few vacations, BUT it took me a LONG time to get the cards that are in there ( being poor blows LOL ) but mine still has a long way to go to be a real major threat also..but i really love a lot of the ideas you have in here and i can't wait to see more affordable EDH ideas from you. Please keep doing what you're doing :)

Thank you :) It's all about having fun :) A few ideas for land that may or may not be helpful, but i have found that works well in my sliver deck are the Lair Lands from the planeshift expansion. Crosis's Catacombs , Darigaaz's Caldera , Dromar's Cavern, Rith's Grove, Treva's Ruins ( not sure if I am posting these correctly) These lands are effective , and they are not expensive to purchase at all . plus so far i find that they work great in any 3 or 5 color decks: since they don't come into play tapped; you can tap a land for mana, play one of the lair lands , bounce the tapped land, then tap the lair land for mana.. presto no draw back ( aside from bouning a non lair laind back to your hand upon putting it onto the field) hope this helps some :)
Don't understand the Budget thing, so budget means no cards over what $ amount, or is it just the price of the entire deck? Overlord is a 7$ card in himself so anything under that? That would mean there are alot of cards you could run to improve this deck, even if your cap price is 50 there is a lot of room for improvement. Personally i think if everyone wants to do these "Budget" things it should be cards under $0.50 so there is a general rule.
Everyone's definition of a budget is different, mine is anything $1.00 or less .As far as the sliver overload ..any of the slivers you go to use as a commander is going to be expensive , but out of the 3 choices he is by far the cheapest. Sliver Queen is priced at $ 27.99 in Damaged condition.. Sliver Legion $ 27.55 Moderate condition. Plus all the rest of the cards in the deck are under a dollar.
I aim to the total deck value. That's why I don't want to add too priceful cards, so then it takes some budget from my other cards, so I try adding as cheap cards as possible.
Ok but with that being said budget would mean the best deck at your price range. You can build this much better just by changing about 10 cards and it'd still be under your budget.

Mirror Entity, Patriarch's Bidding, Chromatic Lantern, and harsh mercy are just a couple and would put you right around $50 after you already added crystaline then cut some weaker cards. guess you need to decide what you want as far as budget cheap cards or just a deck under $50.
Once again, Northern has risen to the challenge! Love this! I'm working towards a Sliver EDH, but... seems I'm just a little to "greedy" for my own good - Good Job! This deck looks completely viable and playable! Thanks again North!

Hey this is a sick budget deck my girlfriends brother is addicted to slivers now because of me i will have to use this deck design for his deck and then he can learn how to play magic better and alter his sliver deck the way he wants. mine is a lil more pricy than most sliver decks i have all my cards foiled out that i can get foiled and then my old duel lands. None of my decks are budget so they are pricy to build but if you guys find the time i am always accepting info and advice on my decks if you guys think of anything i would need that would be great.

Okay... I can do that, but you know, sometimes it takes time for me to find out the decks...And I'm usually pretty busy here on Vault...
I only get on when i need to see what cards i need for my decks or when i come up with a new deck idea to work on
You should get Sliver HIve (land). oh, and also, take out the guildgates and put in the 10 tricolor lands (alara + khans). Only keep the gates if you have the Maze's End.
I'm building this now and have ordered the cards you listed. Are there any other Sliver cards, like the more expensive or rare ones, that anyone would put into this deck?
Magma Sliver is an incredibly powerful card. Also cards like Coat of Arms are really, REALLY good....and if you are really going to rape your wallet, I suggest Sliver Legion/Sliver Queen.
