It holds down a single foe while it comes to play, so it can hose your opponent's aggro-start down.Lyev Skyknight is great card. Temporal removal and 3/1 flyer for 3? Sounds good to me.While your nasty creatures keep your opponent busy, your spells can easily annoy them too. Suprising Dissolve in middle of spellslinging can be the end of your opponents. Also Azorius Charm has strong flavor of control.

Great idea! I have been looking for nifty little budget control deck for a while, especially for standard, but since some of these cards are no longer standard legal, i could make it a modern control deck.
