Deck Description

Friday Budget -series (earlier known as 50 Budget) takes the budget-playing into the next stage. Using cards to build decks with under 50 buck mid-value, Friday Budget -series tries to help you build new decks and use new ideas.
If there is any deck you would like to see as Friday Budget, please, let me know.

How to Play

Inspired by my real life zombie tribal, the gem of my collection.

Keep roasting your opponents with countless zombies, while their ranks grow stronger and stronger.
Grave Titans raise more dead from their graves, while Cemetery Reaper buffs up your zomblings while it can reanimate dead foes to with alongside your troops.
Geth's Verdict and Ultimate Price can handle most of your problems.

Deck discussion for Friday Budget: Walking Dead

Like +, but I would like to suggest two changes:
1. Graveborn Muse. It might give you significant draw power, but also significant loss in life. Maybe Sign in Blood instead for moderate in both?
2. Unbreathing Horde is ok, but without trample it really can't get any damage through. I would like to suggest either one or both of the following: Army of the Damned (13 zombies lol) and Endless Ranks of the Dead (rounded down, but you'll have lots of zombies out)

But again, good deck XD

I see that you said this was inspired by your own real life deck which I think is awesome! I love zombie decks, and does your deck have better more expensive cards in it? Or is this your actual deck you play with?

Replacing a few Dark rituals with Whip of Erebos might be an option. Not only does it give the zombies some nice sustain but it also synergizes well with Grave titans (they have the potential to give you 4 zombie tokens since they gain haste) and Skinrender :)

Hello again Northy! This deck looks wonderful! So I've started a new series of decks on my page that are post rotation and under $50! Would you mind checking the first one out? It's different than most decks, that's for sure!

perhaps tragic slip instead of ultimate price? it's a little limited by something needing to die, but with geth's verdict on the same turn you get two of their creatures and they lose a life and you can also get them with it by just throwing gravecrawlers and geralf's messengers at them since those two like interacting with the graveyard, and tragic slip with morbid is infinitely better than ultimate price, since there is very little that lives against a -13/-13 drop

I actually like that idea. Replacing Ultimate Price now.

I like Cemetery Reaper here. Little need for draw effects when you can dump the extra mana on him.

Oh, you did add Sign in Blood. I think Altar's Reap might be better, since it's an instant and you can later use Cemetery Reaper to get a 2/2 out of anything you sacrifice. Even better if you happen to have Gravecrawler or Messenger around.

I like that idea. Though I basically did add Sign in Blood because it is turn 2 drop...

Another +1 Northy! Except for the Titan, I know you got a whole Tribal Zombie thing going on there. However, since the devotion to black is so high, I would suggest adding some Graymerchant of Asphodel. By turn 5, it could already be a game-ender just by summoning him =)

Gray merchant is a zombie.

Oops! Good catch. Yeah, mono-black? With such high devotion? Graymerchant of Asphodel is a must! =)

Awesome deck. Gotta love zombies. I have just put together a standard zombie deck, this has given me loads of ideas for what to do with it when certain things rotate out.

Btw if you need draw card, how about necromancer's stockpile. Would be effective with grave crawler.

I love tribal decks. You're making to many of them for me to keep up with!! :-D
I might play around with some zombies now. Looks like a good base to mix some more Devotion in to as well.
