Yeah, pretty much.While I know those are strictly better, the loss of kobolds means a loss for the lols and the title. And I also had the idea to do it with kobolds at first, so yeah...Thanks for the suggestions though!
Am I missing something? Isn't Cloudstone Curio only nonartifacts? The three cards Puschkin listed above are all artifacts. And Ornithopter wouldn't work either? Also, why do you have more mountains than islands?
Yeah you're totally right. I can't seem to find any creatures with cmc 0 that aren't artifacts, so I guess ornithopter is gonna be put away for paradoxical outcome and some more filtering.The reason why the mountain count is bigger than the island count is because I updated the deck and forgot to fixthe mana base.
Nice. I think you could down the land count and get away with it. Also, since you're not aiming to be modern legal, why not trade up Serum Visions for Preordain. Its almost strictly better, and cheaper too!If you wanted to make it more reliable you could ditch Ornithopter for some more card filtering such as Ponder... Sixteen is quite a few creatures.Anyway fun idea :)
If he replaces Thopter with more filter cards (Gitaxian Probe!) he will get less out of Paradoxical Outcome. The Outcomes are also the reason why he still runs so much land. So, it's either ditching the Outcomes alltogether so he can also remove some lands and fill up with filter cards or keep it like it is.
Thanks for the suggestions. I totally forgot about Preordain.I get that I could ditch Ornithopter, but as Puschkin mentioned, I will get less out of Paradoxical Outcome. However, I could put filtering in to make the combo a lot more reliable... I think I will remove Paradoxical Outcome, some lands, and Ornithopter and replace them with filtering.EDIT: Ornithopter is gonna stay. I got enough filtering.
Muddle the mixture to tutor the curio.
Doesn't work, as Cloudstone Curio is 3 mana, and Muddle the Mixture can only transmute for cards with a mana cost of 2.
Shite, I thought it was find a card with the same cmc as the transmute cost. Oh well, just found trophy mage, that works much better.
Oh that's true Trophy Mage is great. I forgot about that card. I'll add a couple in.
