I thought it was funny to think that Bruse had an angry cat that he loved. Otherwise, Falthis provides Bruse with evasion to help him connect more consistently. The rest of the deck fits around an aggressive framework. The sideboard are other cards I had considered.
Getting Bruse out and attacking is important, but being able to keep him safe is important as well. There are multiple threats in the deck to try and get removal spells attention. Also, there are a good few interaction spells to try and stay in the game against faster decks.
