yes, this is a red deck without lightning bolts... I don't know if they are needed though, because if i am going to win the game, i am going to win it with Infinate 1/4s and that extra 3 damage in there seems unneeded. if you were to put it in, what would you take out for it???

yah, jaces are a bit pricey, but I have them in my deck because i have 4... so for me, this deck will cost nothing because i have all the cards available. but Splinter Twins have jumped from being a dollar rare to a 10$ rare because of this combo. so that may not be to priceless here pretty soon.

that is true, I am worried about that deck, and my brother is building it, so that is a very good idea.

one of the things i am scared of is memorocide. that card freaks me out. they name splinter twin, and i am dead... so I may need to add alternate win cons in side. any suggestions???

That is a good suggestion, but considering how bad Red and Blue lands are in standard, I don't think it would play well. And I shouldn't be worried too much about my opponents lands if i am trying to combo off. I would rather just dig through my deck and win the game instead.

i hadn't considered into the roil, and i really like how it fits in the deck. i am not sure were it should fit in though. I want my drawpower to be on turns 1 and 2 so i can hit the combo as soon as possible. were do you think it fits???

not really, the infernos are for the aggro decks and the frost is for control. they are backup plans and also work with the splinter twins

i don't want any draw power to be on turn 3 because that is the turn i want to play the exarch. so turns 1 and 2 is were i want to be drawing. so turn 1 is preordain, and i am using the owl because it has the most dig. see beyond draws cards, but by using it, i will see 3 cards by next turn as opposed to 4 with the owl. if i don't scry into what i am looking for, i put them all on the bottom. I havnt tested them yet, but they are both very good options.

i am not quite sure what you plan on countering with mental misstep. and because it is a combo deck, and you don't seem to be using any alternate win cons, I would add the 4th splinter twin.

there is also aurury owl's scry 3 to consider, it can get rid of the cards I don't want, and let me draw what i need the next turn. what do you think?

because if i have a vat in play, i can play my exarch without worrying about him dying. it is also good with the titans.

looks good, but has too many mana producers for my taste...

hmm, not a bad idea, they would allow me to play koth on turn 3. but R/B's manabase isn't too bad. i am not sure it is really needed.

that would be good, but i don't think it would be fast enough. i am playing alot of creatures, but that card belongs in a deck with memnites and glinthawks. and i am not even playing argentum armor. I don't know if that is the direction this deck wants to go.

what would you take out to add them to put them in???

because go for the throat does nothing against any tezz deck. it is a complete dead draw. and doom blade is a dead draw against vamps or U/B control. so i don't want to commit to one or the other. in any other matches, they are the same thing.

doom blade and go for the throat are both dead draws in some matchups. if you play some of each main, and the rest side. it lowers the chance of dead draws
