Counterspell is counterspell, Stoic is counterspell 99% of the time, Summary Dismissal beats Storm and can counter spells that say they can't be countered. Overwhelming Denial is underrated, and if you have both Summary and Denial and the mana to cast both, then there is virtually no way to stop you from denying something that you need countered. Muddle the Mixture can be used in emergencies, but you usually want to get a more proactive 2 drop with it. Void Shatter is for this cheeky cunt in my playgroup that runs Pyroblast. Negate is great because virtually everything that'll wreck your gameplan is a non-creature spell. Obvious exceptions being Bane of Progress, Rec Sage, etc.Exile a snow-covered island off of Extraplaner lens, and increase the chances that you'll be the only one doubling your mana.If you have Isochron Scepter, the two best targets to imprint are Counterspell to be annoying, or High Tide and massively speed up your ability to shut down other players.
