I had a red burn deck and half the red cards here were in said deck. I was twinking a control deck I had with the burn deck and got this crazy notion to make Kiln Fiend a very large threat for very little mana and an easy combo. Edit: I recently learned that it was called Izzet Blitz, and after getting a booster box of Oath and a Fat Pack of Battle for Zendikar, I decided to play around with some of the commons. This list performed the best out of the other lists I used.
I've seen the decklist for a lot of other Izzet Blits Decks, and I can't say I agree with some of the choices. Works the same way, 3 spell combo onto Fiend to get him to deal the lethal blow. My favorite one is Brute Strength + Lightening Bolt + Temur Battle Rage. Counting it, I believe that's 26 damage. Enough to kill through any blocker in pauper. Slip Through Space can replace Lightning Bolt, given the same amount of mana needed, and the same outcome. Dead opponent.
