Deck Description

This deck isn't even fair. Find your favorite tap ability elves and take them for an infinite walk down loop street.

How to Play

You need 2 Wirewood Lodge, an Argothian Elder, and any mana producing elf. In this case I went with Priest of Titania. 1. Tap your Priest for mana once you have 3 or more elves in play. 2. Pay 1 G and tap the Lodge, this allows you to untap your Priest. 3. Tap your Argothian Elder to untap up to 2 of the Wirewood Lodge. You've created 3 mana and only used 1 of it..Do this over and over and over and over and over...
Once you've got enough of a zoo, say 5,6,7 elves in play, hopefully powered by your Door of Destinies, shoot your mana combo off until you can pay the entwine cost on Tooth and Nail (7GG) and use it to summon Craterhoof Behemoth and any of his elf buddies. Then swing away!

I cannot take credit for this deck. The guy who works the desk at the card shop talked me into it when I was buying elves for what was going to be a very different deck. I've gone 2 out of 3 with it so far and both wins had seen me win with an infinite life gain combo instead. (switch out Priest of Titania for Wellwisher)

Deck discussion for Elf Loop

As fun as that combo is, it requires 4 cards, with two of them being the same card, and another where you only have one copy of in the deck. There's a few was to get infinite mana without that many cards. Here's one that I stumbled across a while back that only requires two cards with little to no others:

Elvish Archdruid + Umbral Mantle. This one requires three other elves out; three to use Mantle's untap effect, plus one more to gain extra mana from each time the Archdruid is tapped.

Viridian Joiner + Umbral Mantle. This one requires two mana from somewhere else to start the loop, as Mantle grants +2/+2 with each untap, allowing the Joiner to start paying for its own untaps.

Another use for all that mana that I like to add to my elf decks is Ezuri, Renegade Leader.

I love Ezuri. He's definitely in my sideboard right now. Thanks for the tips on those other combos I likely won't be playing this deck all that much because of them though. You don't really make friends playing infinite combos haha.

Another elf card that really loves to eat the mana you feed into him would be "Joraga Warcaller".
I had a match against an elf-commander deck once and he pulled of a really neat trick. Can't find/ remember the cards at the moment (perhaps the community can help here) but he managed to reduced the mana-costs of green/ elf spells and draw one of two cards for each elf played. He basically was able to play half his library within one turn.
