How to Play

I loved Etrata from the day she was spoilered so the main approach is to get her out early and safe against removal spells. Her 3/5 body makes it tricky to shot her down with the usual tools so we won't make any thoughts to burn decks here. When she attacks, she will remove opponents creatures and vanish back into our library.

We have a lot of tools to find her in the new Surveil mechanic and also could have Lazav or Rona get her back from the grave if something happens.

Enhanced Surveillance offers us a chance to increae the count of cards we Surveil each time and this also triggers in combination with Creeping Chill, that lets us shoot each opponent for free. This is our second win condition with Doom Whisperer, that lets us Surveil for 2 life each time, so we could Surveil the rest of our library to find any 4 copies of Creeping Chill and shoot for 12 damage if an opponent has 12 or less life.

Anything else is considere to control the board and/or opponents hand and deck so we could stay safe for either win condition

Deck discussion for Etrata Vanishing

Scavenger Grounds is not Standard, but otherwise I love it. You also don't really need that 23rd land, so I would replace it with something that can surveil some, like Notion Rain

Thank you for telling, I didn't know/recognize that Amonketh was rotated out meanwhile. I started designing this when it was still legal
