My intention is to design a deck arround Etrata, the Silencer from upcomming Guilds of Ravnica set because I felt in love to her when I saw her for the first time in the set spoiler.--http://mythicspoiler.com/grn/cards/etratathesilencer.jpgEtrata, the Silencer can't be blocked.Whenever Etrata deals combat damage to a player, exile target creature that player controls and put a hit counter on that card. That player loses the game if they own three or more exiled cards with hit counters on them. Seems Etrata is likely to be insane for Commander.

I would go really hard on Surveil with Enhanced Surveillance. All that digging to find Etrata. Dimir has a lot of grindy cards that synergize with the mechanic like blood operative. Play a old fashioned Dimir control shell to protect Etrata. Secrets of the mausoleum to tutor it up, made better with Surveil and your utility creatures.
I already planned to go for Enhanced Surveillance but primary for its second ability rather. I planned to play Lazav, the Multifarious along with Rona, Disciple of Gix to benefit from Eratra in the graveyard and also to have a plan to cast her back.I would like to have something like Aether Vial but Raff seems to be the only way to instant hit her on the board in an opponents turn to attack on my next or mana ramp for an early Etrata and continously play her again when attacked in the same turn but also keep the control on.Any idea how to benefit from the Historic mechanic in Dominaria?
