Well sir, or ma'am, if I remember correctly, you still get the mana, but it turns colorless. Just like if you were to play a red-blue general and stole your opponent's Vine Trellis, you'll be producing colorless mana. But I heard that nowadays the ruling states that you get to produce colors outside your identity.

My Damia Deck is pretty fair I'd say, it's built upon flavor and theme rather than power play.
I don't abuse her DRAW TILL SEVEN! mechanic, rather, I focus on Themes like:

Forbidden Knowledge,
Utilitarianism,
Gorgons, Nagas and Snakes,

BECOME THE TARGET BOARD!
A syndrome that threatening Commanders face too often!

That's why subtler commanders are always better xD
