Deck Description

This deck is a mono-white Human* Knight** bloodbath where your win condition revolves around Knights assisting each other in retaking all of your respective holy lands through co-operative abilities and bonuses, centered on Odric, Lunarch Marshal's ability. Played right, you'll be backed up by enchantment support, enchantment/artifact exilers, and a boardwipe that doesn't (or shouldn't) effect you.

* = Exceptions are Kinsbaile Cavalier.
** = Exceptions are Odric 1 and 2, Gideon's creature ability, and Veteran Armorer.
Cards that are neither Human nor Knight are Soldier tokens, Lone Rider's transformation, Heliod, and Cavalry Pegasus.

How to Play

The best creature to throw first will be Student of Warfare (level up for a 1 drop 3/3 with first strike!), and Veteran Armorer or an enchantment for an early game buff. The fun really begins when you get a Knight Exemplar. She makes all other Knights indestructible. Okay cool, just get rid of her, right? Not as easy as it might seem. If two Exemplars are summoned, they're now both indestructible. Alternatively, you can protect her from creatures of whatever color your opponent is using with Riders of Gavony. Same is true for Brave the Elements and Repel the Abominable.

So it's hard to get rid of the indestructibility, but the abilities don't end there. If you pull Thailia's Lancers, use it to put Odric, Lunarch Marshal in your hand and summon him. At the beginning of all combat phases, your creatures share most of their abilities between each other. Got a Fiendslayer out? Now all your creatures have lifelink and first strike. Pegasus doesn't have to swing anymore for everyone to get flying. This effect is also why Lone Rider is in the sideboard. His transformation can add his unique Trample to your other creatures. Double strikers and lifelink is also readily accessible, as well as Vigilance (through Riders of Gavony or Always Watching), Flying through Pegasus, and redundant indestructibilities. Even if Odric is somehow exiled, at the very least your Knights will maintain indestructibility with Exemplars. The idea is to outswing an enemy who goes through the trouble of disabling or exiling all the Exemplars and Odric. By that time, with most creatures having buffs through enchantments, a bounty of abilities, and general protections from colors and creature types, you usually are able to demolish the opponents life total.

Defensively, this deck can be played with Repel the Abominable, Revoke Existence, Bonds of Faith for single troublesome creatures, and if all else fails, Day of Judgement. Boardwipes will not effect your own creatures if you have Exemplars on the field. If there's only one, only the Exemplar will be destroyed, buying you some time to recover before new blockers can be put up against you.

Heliod mostly added for Praise the Sun jokes, and Gideon can be used to crank Cathars' Crusade for increasing counters.
