As much as most oppose drana i like to use her, though she can always be pulled at some point. I think i would go with:

-4 guul draz vampire
+4 bloodghast
-4 Feast of Blood
+4 Go for the Throat

and maybe -3 disentomb for the lacerators, i just still fail to see how they are as incredible as everyone is raging about over them.

Thanks for the tips, if i can ever find a cheap set of bloodghast i'll run them over the guul draz, i wanna keep the pulse trackers, and want to run go for the throat at some point either over doom blade or over feast of blood

Which cards would you pull out though to fit in Kalastria and Bloodghast, assuming I was to ever get them? I already plan to get go for the throat over doom blade or disentomb

Vendetta could be fun to possibly sideboard in over the doom blade, though ive been wanting to run go for the throat even more than either of them. lol. I've been hesistant about the lacerator but i think im going to finally give him a try and see how he fairs over the guul draz vampire or something. i think pulse tracker is too much fun to pull out. Thanks for the comment!

I like bloodghast just haven't had the money to get a full set, but im not a fan of kalastria unless its a sac themed vampire deck. I think in which case it would be great. the blades are something ive been meaning to get just havent due to their expense. Thanks for the comment!

hey man i liked the red/black version, but not a huge fan of the act of treason, i think i would run gruesome encore now actually even if it does have to come from a graveyard instead of the field.

it's beaten most of the decks ive played against, the only thing it has struggled with was up front against a burn deck if he got a faster draw than me, otherwise i've had success with this.

Yeah, i would love to have the blades or the bloodghast but made this one on a budget. I don't like the sac theme personally so that's why i didnt roll with it, but im sure it can be great. thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the tips! I've been meaning to look at something to possibly replace the guul draz's with since they aren't too good up front. I think I try out the lacerators, even though I've been a little reluctant too.

yeah, i like the idea, i had been thinking of dropping doom blade for go for the throat but you think dropping the disentombs is best?

yeah, i would have to take them out for sure if i ran them, though the bloodwitch can be devastating sometimes.

yeah, i am. hence the fact there are no blades of the bloodchief, go for the throats, or bloodghast. i think mine is solid given the conditions applied.

on a budget, so the go for the throats are out atm, not a fan of lacerator, and budget prevents bloodghast too. See my comment above on Highborn. I run exsanguiate bc we play a hell of a lot of multi-player battles in my playgroup so it works out. Disentomb is only in there bc can't think of much else to put in atm that would work within a budget.

yeah, i liked it a lot whenever i played decks that were heavy creature based, but versus a couple decks i came up on (milling and burn based ones) it served me little to no purpose and I found other cards better suited for the deck than it. Thanks for the comment!

I ran it for a while and it just wasn't working for me. I was going faster than the ability proved to be useful. I think it's amazing for a vampire sac deck, but not for a just straight out aggro one. thanks for the comment though

Thanks man for the comment. I've used sorin in here before and wasn't much of a fan after testing him a couple games. just never seemed to help me by turn 6. I checked out your deck, looked pretty solid.

I like the deck, but not sold on the Sorins. maybe you've had better experience than i did with them, but ive never found him to be that useful by turn 6. With one anowon i would consider just dropping him and rolling 4 of the bloodwitches or something, or if you were set on sticking with anowon maybe run another to increase your chances of pulling him, etc. just some thoughts. solid overall.

First i would drop the land down, you only need 30-33% land for 60 cards. if you're not going with metalcraft i would say swap galvanic blast for lightning bolt (1 red for 3 damage). Not a fan of the Zof Shade or the Cavader imp, id say swap in Vampire Nighthawk and Disentomb. I'm looking at things to cut down on your mana curve. At first glance the shaman appears like he might be worth it, but at 5 mana, plus the kicker, means your not even seeing him til 5+ turns, consider swapping him for something cheaper, or dropping his number down from 4. i would add some doom blades in here for creature hate as well. I like the concept with red/black decks, they just have to kinda play fast is all lol. overall love the idea of the two colors.
