Understood. I didn't realize this deck was only from ROE! Guard Gomazoa is a great card. i'd stick with that for early defense, but I'd definitely have 4 of them in there so you're sure to get one early.

Anyway, I guess I'm just used to facing very fast decks. My friends and I can usually win by turn 4 or 5.. and it's rare when a game lasts even 10 rounds anymore. We play type 2 tournaments, so I guess I just have that mindset.

Although, your deck looks amazingly fun to play!

Basically, by turn 4 your goal is to have all 4 Valakuts on the field so when you play your Titan, the player takes 24 damage.

Typically, I'll have 6-7 lands in play by the 3rd turn if not sooner because of Explore, Cultivate, Harrow and rampant Growth. Not only that, all the fetchlands make deck thinning extremely fast. We're talking about a fourth turn Titan and a fifth turn Avenger.

Turn 1 - Play a land. Explore. Fetchland.
2 lands in play.
Turn 2 - Play a land. Cast Rampant Growth.
4 lands in play.
Turn 3 - Play a land. Cast Khalni Heart Expedition. Cast Harrow or Cultivate.
6-7 lands in play.
Turn 4 - Cast Titan. Brings any 2 lands into play. Bring in x2 Valakut. Play Mountain = 6 damage. Sacrifice the Khalni Heart Expedition and bring in 2 more mountains = 12 damage. Cast Another Explore/Rampant Growth.
12-13 lands in play.
Turn 5 - Attack with Titan, bring in 2 more Valakuts. Play a Mountain = 12 damage to opponent. Cast Avenger or another Titan. If Titan, 4 Valakuts do 24 damage to opponent for bringing 2 Mountains into play plus the damage the titan will do. this goes even faster if you have 2 titans in play.
15-18 lands in play.
Turn 6 or more - your summoning traps will help along the way. Avenger of Zendikar makes all of those lands creatures JUST in case you need the backup.. which you probably won't.

Takes a few turns to get rolling and you're pretty open for the first 3 turns. But this is only an average speed for the deck. If I get more land fetch spells early on, the faster it works. Plus having an early Khalani Heart makes it that much faster..

Yah, but what would you expect from the Knights of the Round Table? Bad one liners from an action movie? It fits. 9.0

Can't go wrong with mana leak.. but maybe use Fauna Shaman to make sure you have the creatures you need when you need them? Plus Bloodbraid will work with it. I'd leave one Avenger in there for Fuana to pull when you want / need it if you can find the room.

No prob man.. I really hope it plays better than before.. it sure seems to me like it's at the very least going to be much faster and more reliable! Let me know how it fares!

Seems impossibly slow to me. You have absolutely nothing to defend your early game. Anyone playing a Red Burn or anything that's constructed for type 2 will annihilate you by turn 4 or 5 since they are so fast.

This may be good for casual play against other slow decks, but you have no mana ramp and no real game until turn 6 when your demon comes out...

The best advice I can give is throw in some early game defenders. Maybe Wall of Frost to really stop up incoming attackers and hope they don't have a ton of flying?

Awesome! Also, you may wana try balancing out your lands there, since your black creatures and planeswalker all need 2 Black to cast. I'd try 12 plains 8 swamp or a fetchland or two just to make sure you get the lands you need.

You could probably pull out two of each planeswalker since if you have one in play you can't play another and you don't want to draw one so often if you can't use it.. that will free up a few cards.

I'd add in 2 Marsh Flats for fetchlands just so you don't get manascrewed and Either Path to Exile or Journey to nowhere to take care of enemy planeswalkers or troublesome creatures or a nice black removal spell like doomblade. This will help you set up for the invincible knights/Day of Judgment bomb!

Hope this helps.

Vampire Nighthawk instead of Child of Night would REALLY make this awesome! And it would fill your 3cc creature card for black in your mana curve nicely..

Nighthawk is just much more of a deadly addition no to include it.

Maybe try squadron hawks for defenders for early game since you can bring the other 3 to your hand and not have to worry about them being polymorphed?

I was thinking maybe Whispersilk Cloak to make the pumpy creatures unblockable and hard to kill instead of the Gobby Tunneler??

Hmm.. but then I couldn't do the Basilisk Collar.

Decisions..
