This deck utilizes the Murder King to his full potential. Steal your opponents characters with the 6 or 7 cards in this deck that do the same thing as Act of Treason. Once stolen, attack your opponents with their own characters. Then destroy that character with Tymaret's ability. This deck also runs cards that steal creatures from opposing graveyards to attack with them as well. This deck also does direct Creature/Opponent damage with red cards. Black mostly provides the large creatures and graveyard shenanigans. This deck was constructed from a small (2000 random cards) cardpool, so I'm sure there's room for improvement. I'm all ears - thought I won't be purchasing singles that cost more than $4, so keep that in mind. The sideboard shown above, isn't really a sideboard. It's just cards I own that I've been swapping in and out of the deck while trying to find a good mix! More additions I've been told to consider, but don't own.Blood CryptBloodghastMass MutinyLyzolda - to pop Tymaret repeatedly as a draw engine.
Tymaret was chosen as the Commander because you can just bring him back from the graveyard (instead of sending him to the Command Zone - where he becomes more expensive). This actually makes him better than the similarly powered Rakdos commander Lyzolda. Not only that, but his ability to be a permanent sac engine in conjunction with cards like Act of Treason make his ability insane.Late game, drop biggies - like the Gorgons - or steal large creatures from opposing graveyards with your black spells.
