The only cards I don't like are the rakish heirs, and to a lesser extent crossway vampires. I would consider thinking about Cruse of Pierced Heart or blood seeker in those spots. They are cheep cards (manna and price) and will force your opponent to make bad decisions. Just a thought.

I'd consider putting shock in place of 2, or 4 if you are afraid of the cost
A lot of this is keeping with the theme rather than winning consistently, I think as constructed this is a .500 deck with play upside with the right pairing. I like the Ancient Grudge main board because it hates wurmcoil engine and pyrexian metamorph which are things that will be problems for this deck. The sideboard issues are problems, but not horrible ones, I think the swords of things that I might think about getting after the other expensive parts of this deck are picked up (the duel lands and the Garruk's). I might move burn, probably shock or brimstone volley in place of the titanic growths. As for the rampant growth they are placeholders until i see what happens with the Avycan Restored green instants and sorcery's
I run something similar, but I'd pull the victims of night and Trigon of rage and replace them the the virulent wounds. Also, the Nihil, ratchet, and tumble, can be replaced with a battle set of contagion clasp. lastly I'd consider putting swaps in for the despises, so you are more likely to hit skittles as a 6-drop.
