If you were to use Searing Spear, you would do 5 damage directly to the opponent, as well as to one creature, and you can use flux charger to hit the opponent for another 5. In one turn you've taken 10 life and possibly destroyed a creature. Electromancer also helps diminish the amount of mana you need, making it possible to use multiple burn cards in one turn, which sets off a nice chain. Blustersquall and Cyclonic Rift are in there purely for defense purposes, as the deck uses low power and toughness creatures. They still work well with the deck, however. Because of electromancer it is easier to pay for the overload cost, and you can still do damage through guttersnipe and flux charger.
