Deck Description

The deck is all about card advantage. 4 Brainstorm + 3 Ponder + 4 Baleful Strix + 2 Jace + the versatility of Reccuring Nightmare and Green Sun's Zenith. The deck aims at defeating tempo decks in general with their greedy manabase and the many BUG/RUG/Esper variants that dominate the field. We have tons of removal, great card advantage, high resources, disruption and superior creatures that normally have a casting cost to high for legacy put playable due to Veteran Explorer. The combo matchup (mainly show and tell, Storm and Dark Depths) will be problematic but I'm working on that

Deck discussion for Blue Nic Fit

Gitaxian Probe, that way you know if it's worth it to play cabal therapy.

Yeah I know, it's insane with Therapy but there's no room left in the deck and it's not worth cutting any of the other cards for. Usually with creatures like Veteran Explorer and Baleful strix the flashback is easy to pay and therapy works very well. Also with a good understanding of the meta therapy hits what it neeeds to hit even blind.

In my opinion I would drop thragtusk and phantasmal image for two probes.

thragtusk is one of the most important cards in the deck, it's one of the big reasons to play Nic fit as it is the only shell in legacy that enables you to play this insane unfair creature. phantasmal image is one of the most versatile creatures of the deck at very low mana cost. Cutting it seems bad.
