This deck is full of nostalgia!It is the Burial Theme Deck of the Apocalypse Set (Invasion Block) and has been slightly improved. It reminds me of the days i discovered MTG in 2001 and played it with friends in school. These good old days of childhood most people miss when life was less complicated.So this deck isn't complicated too and it isn't the best deck the world has seen because it was made by a 12 year old mind back then but i stil love it.
You can swarm with many tiny dudes boosted by the Lord of the Dead and ramp into some small combat tricks using Llanowar Dead.Mournful Zombie and Putrid Warrior help you to stay alive or to negate Phyrexian Arena's lifeloss while Quagmire Druid kills enchantments on a stick. The best way to use Quagmire Druid is imho to sacrifice a Maggot Carrier to get rid of any enchantment and get the Carrier back by Lords of the Undead's ability play it once again so see everyones life go down a bit more.Grave Defiler and Phyrexian Arena simply refill your hand or help you to cycle through your deck for those few spells like Dead Ringers or Death Grasp if you are in need to kill somethig.I know the mana base is cruel but it is the best you get by those old cards and in this block.
