Neheb, Radha, and Faeburrow provide alternatives.Also, always pay for Najeela's WUBRG ability during the first damage step of combat to benefit from the lifelink and trample.Any creatures that say 'At the beginning of combat' essentially read 'At the beginning of each combat phase'. Flamerush Rider, as well as Sword of the Animist, are awesome for this.Qasali Slingers is both (one of the few) flying blockers, and a semi-poor Aura-Shards at once. Not flashy, but very utility. I've avoided notable 'one off' warrior token generators (Oketra the True, Imperious Perfect, Herald of Anafenza) because with your general right there to make tokens, why bother?I also kept looking at Kindred Summons, and Kindred Charge, but I like this deck's solid low mana curve. Also, I don't know why Kindred Discovery gets so much love. Because it doesn't say 'may', you are likely to mill yourself out.
