Jared's husband material on presence alone imo
Be the monarch, blow up everyone else.Because of Jared's ability to ignore damage and convert it to +1/+1 counters, cards like Saving Grace Pariah's Shield and Guilty Conscience Make it so you cannot take combat damage until Jared or the damage redirecting cards are removed, meaning once you become the monarch it is difficult to take it away. While you are monarch you can also purposefully damage Jared in order to make him big and beefy, cards that allow him to fight are now one sided removal, Star of Extinction Solar Blaze and other board clear cards that deal damage now make Jared much, much larger. Spitemare and Mogg Maniac also work well with the damaging board clears to deal chunks of damage. Vigor is there as a repetitive ability if you somehow aren't monarch so you can still user Jared's ability as needed, and on other creatures as well.Wincons include using Jared to obliterate opponents with large amounts of damage, preferably unblockable or trample damage using other cards, or flat out winning the game with a large Jared and Mayael's Aria if needed.
