Blasting Station or Barrage of Expendables could be another idea to make sure you don't waste one of your creatures (or give your opponent a creature back) when you don't have a Fling on your hand. Another option would be to add black as colour to get access to spells like [[Altar's Reap]] or creatures like Bloodflow Connoisseur. GreetingsMuktol

i didn't even know rite of consumption was a card, adding black would be a pretty great idea for it and blooddlow connoisseur
